Caramel Mocha Almond Smoothie - #ThursdayThoughts

Boost your morning with this homemade caffeinated frappé! Starbucks who?

With the summer season finally upon us, the weather is heating up! Everyone wants to go hang out—school’s out, vacation time is set, everything’s open late, and I’m ready to relax!

Of course, if you’re going to be going out this summer, you need money... Maybe save a little cash by cutting down on your Starbucks or Dunks habit. Now that you have the leisure time to make your own coffee in the morning, save time and money by whipping up this frappé to cover both your caffeine and breakfast needs.

This caramel mocha almond smoothie will keep you full till lunch and energized for a day of summer fun! The date really adds a hint of caramel and sweetens the whole deal without any added sugar! It takes only minutes to make (especially if you freeze the banana the night before), so you can toss it in a tumbler for that road trip and sip it all the way to the beach. Let me know if you tried it in the comments! The links in the ingredients list are affiliate links to some of my preferred brands!

Remove the pit from the date (if it's not pre-pitted). Add the milk and cold brew to the blender, then the cinnamon, cocoa powder, and collagen. Blend on high for 30 seconds. Add everything else, plus ice, if desired. Blend until smooth (1-3 minutes), pour into cup of choice, and enjoy immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Serves one.
